The list also includes the names of nine members of the Queensland Lions who are not yet on the Lions’ list, including halfback Daniel Tupou.

Lions coach Luke Beveridge said he is looking into the idea of naming an interim coach in the coming weeks.

Lions coach Michael Maguire told the Herald Sun on Tuesday the issue of his eventual vacancy would not be a distraction.

AFL.com.au understands the Lions have yet to be approached regarding naming the club’s new coach but the club would be supportive of the idea.
The Lions have had numerous names in the running for the job over the last few months, including assistant coaches Matt Clark, Tim Watson and Ben Reid,
